Camera Trainee
Gareth is a confident and experienced Camera Trainee, with over 5 years' experience across continuous drama, short films, documentary and commercial productions.
Having previously worked as a Kit Room Technician, Gareth has a meticulous attention to detail when handling equipment, alongside a strong understanding of the logistical requirements of the camera department. His experience has given him a solid foundation in equipment preparation, organisation and workflow management, helping to ensure smooth and efficient operations on set.
Gareth has also completed the Focus Pulling and Loading Diploma at the National Film and Television School, where he trained with a wide range of cinema camera systems and gained hands-on experience working with both 16mm and 35mm film formats. Friendly, passionate and reliable, he brings an excellent work ethic, a positive attitude and a strong commitment to every production he works on.
Based in Leeds, Gareth is available for work across Manchester, Liverpool and throughout the UK. He holds a full UK driving licence and is willing to travel and relocate for productions as required.
