Grip
Since 2014 I have gained knowledge and practice working as a film and television grip. I trained for 4 years as a branch certified trainee and in September 2018 I officially started taking on my projects (see credentials in my resume). Working as a grip, I have increased my skill set and experience with a range of camera operators and DOP’s but also alongside crane technicians to help set up, operate and de-rig telescopic cranes and jib arms. In August 2021 I completed my Level 2 Diploma in Professional Competence for Grips. I am the sole director of Go Johnny Grip Ltd. Grip Van with kit and Pick up truck available on request.
